Fountain Clubline Marker |
The latest in a range of easy to use, battery operated linemarkers, the Fountain Clubline is ideal for small and medium sized clubs and schools as well as providing a quick, versatile method for touch up marking. The linemarker is constructed for lightness and is balanced to give a very easy feel whether the marker is full or empty. With switch control, the operation is simple and quiet. The combination of the 16 litre size, the electric motor driven pump spray system and the latest variable width marking discs provide a balance in ease of use and adaptability with a large combination of applications for the outdoor sporting events. Good visibility over the machine aids the placement of the line especially when marking over existing lines. Circles can be accurately marked as well, owing to the three point construction.
The pump and motor set is designed as a ‘one piece’ unit which can easily changed over by removing the pivot rod on the holding plate and interchanging the complete unit. To drive the system a Continuous or Deep Cycle 12 volt battery is required. Batteries of this type give constant discharge power and high output levels between charging allowing long life and maximum time between charging. The simplicity of the marker design underlies its versatility. A light weight frame which can fold up for storage, and ideal for transport in a car or van.
The fan jet has been selected to give good laydown quantities with good edge definition. It can be rotated to increase/decrease line width and match to the disc width being used. When set up with the regulating valve correctly adjusted, an excellent line with the optimum use of liquid can be obtained. The cylinder is constructed from lightweight PVC and is easily removed from the frame. The liquid is poured into the top of the cylinder preferably using the strainer. A regulating valve is fitted in the line from the cylinder and is set to match the flow requirements which vary with different needs for line width, speed of marking, laydown quantity and the marking compound itself. The snap lock fitting gives an easy disconnected point on the pump for removal of the cylinder for emptying, rinsing, etc. The vertical arrangement of the pumping system allows almost all sports marking compounds to be used, although thicker compounds may block the nozzle. Naturally we recommend Fountain Linemarking liquid which has been developed specially for sports linemarking. |

SLATER GARTRELL SPORTS are the Western Australian agents for Fountain Linemarkers.
At the heart of the Fountain Clubline is a battery driven pump and motor which delivers a constant flow of marking liquid through a fan jet onto the surface. The excellent non-clog characteristics of the pump ensure trouble free operation with a wide variety of liquids and slurries which contain high levels of suspended powder.
The delivery system includes a regulating valve, a diaphragm valve and a short delivery line to centre the spray between the discs.
